My dog is attached at the hip to me. Everywhere I go, every turn I make, he’s following me. He is currently sitting under my desk, panting at me, leaning on me.
There is thunder.
He hates thunder. The poor thing is terrified of it. I can’t make it go away, and he just gets more and more antsy and tries to shove himself in a corner. Thankfully my desk is one that has a corner (it is an L-desk). Winston is currently backed into that corner looking at me with that doleful look of, “Why can’t you make it go away.
I was going to try and clean up my desk some, but I’m afraid I’ll roll over my dog or something. I’m going to do what bit I can, but sometimes it’s just so hard with him.
On a sidenote, I have three mosquito bites on my feet. Two on my right foot and one on my left. They are itching like crazy and making me a bit bonkers.
CRACKATABOOOOMMMM!!!!!! Winston has now taken to shoving his head under my elbow and shaking.
I asked for a ripsnorter of a thunderstorm, and I believe it is here. It’s making some car alarms go off. BWAHAHAHA
Poor Winston. For my sake I hope it goes on for a long time.
For Winston I hope he finds solace that someone is willing to pet him and tell him it will all be okay.
The basement door is open for him to go into hiding.
Sometimes I feel like going into hiding.
I LOVE torrential downpours. I like lightning arcing across the sky as well.
I miss living in Somerville where we used to sit out on the porch and watch the lightning storms while chatting away. Ah the memories.
The rain is letting up. . .the thunder seems to be moving away. . . and with all hope the weather will stay cooled down and not go back to humid-hellacious-heat.
